Martha Rae Hedden Keedy of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 13, 1940 at Grapevine, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Joe Ray and Marshie Jane Blackerby Hedden. She was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired Beautician. Martha Rae liked to be on the go as much as she could. Whether it was camping, trips to Branson, or spending time with her cousins, she enjoyed being active. She was an excellent cook, and made many meals at deer camp, and for her family and friends, and even was the cook at Keep-N-Teach for a time. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids.

Mrs. Keedy died Friday, April 2, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 81. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Keedy.

Survivors include her sons, Kent Keedy and wife LuAnn, Keith Keedy; brother, Larry Hedden and wife Sue; sister, Betty Jo Horton; all of Sheridan; grandchildren, Krysten, Karson, Garett, Amber; great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Slade, Kurt, Cam. She is also survived by numerous other special family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 5, 2021 at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Doney Blackerby and Bro. Shawn Hill officiating. Burial will be in Hedden Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is also Monday, 12:00-1:00 P.M. at the church.
