Marthey Ann Reed West of Leola, Arkansas was born August 3, 1950, in Warren, Arkansas, the daughter of
the late Sydney and Vernie Sparks Reed. She was employed at Kohler. Besides her children, her greatest joy in life was her grandbabies.

Ms. West died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at the age of 61.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Reed, Marshall "Pete" Reed and sister, Irene Reed Say.
Survivors: Son, Buck and wife Tenna West of Leola;
Daughter, Rena and husband Charles Rhodes of Leola;
Brothers, Steve Reed of Grapevine, Tony Reed of Judsonia, and Leo Reed of Grapevine;
Sisters, Odesal Byrd of Leola, Wanda Jane Justice of Grapevine, Mary Jones of Leola;
8 grandchildren, Dylan Stanton, Thea Stanton, Kyle West, Robert Coleman Stanton, Haley West, Nicholas West, Carlie Rhodes and Tyler Ballance.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 6, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Pennington and Bro. Kenneth Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Carthage. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Dennis Finley, Michael Stone, Dustin Johnson, Larry Ballance, Wade Rhodes, Daniel Russell, and James Russell.
