Marvia Nan Harris Springer, 83, of Searcy, Arkansas, formerly of Sheridan, was born on June 9, 1926, the daughter of the late Marvin and Lida Mitchell Harris. She died on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Searcy Health Care Center.

She was an Insurance Administrator, having retired from Pine Bluff Arsenal after 32 years , a member of First Baptist Church in Searcy and was the widow of Robert Springer, Sr.

Survivors: 2 sons, Robert E. Springer, Jr. And wife Lucy of Denver, Colorado;
Stephan H. Springer and wife Kelli of Searcy;

2 sisters, Russell Eubanks of Rogers;
Betty Sue Kell of Marianna;
1 Grandchild, Matt Springer

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday January 15, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Sam Adkins officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Friday. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan.

Pallbearers are Jimmie Koon, LeRoy Perkins, Gerald Reed, Conrad Wilson and Ben Caldwell.
