Marvin Jay Stone was born December 22, 1964 and went home to heaven April 3, 2023.  He was met by his father and friend Elvis J. Stone, father-in-law Jerry Maulden, friend Jearld James, nephew Alex Ruble, brother-in-law Wayne James.

He is survived by his friend of 42 years and wife of 35, Roxanne; children, Clay (Autumn) Stone, Rachel (Dakota) Stepp; grandkids, Jasper, Eli, Charlie and Henry Stepp and Grace Stone; his mother, Loretta Stone James; siblings, Lisa (Kevin) Anthony, Jerry (Sharron) Stone and Lea James; his mother-in-law and caregiver Wanda Maulden; family by love, Bobby and Bonnie Wells; sister-in-law Michelle (Mark) Borecky; many nieces and nephews and family he loved.

Marvin was a giving man who loved to hunt and fish and would talk to anybody about God and how God blessed him daily.  His proudest moments in life were being called Pops and Grandpa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Marlow Missionary Baptist Church (Ico Community) with Bro. John M. Williams, Bro. Robert Standley, Bro. Shaun Holland, and Bro. Robert Cossey officiating.   Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
