Mary Ella Binning Wilson, of Sheridan, Arkansas formerly of Prattsville was born December 24, 1913 in Prattsville, Arkansas the daughter of the late John Lee and Nancy Jane Binning.

She was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville, where for many years she taught Sunday School. In her earlier years, she worked for Dr. Curtis Clark at his Sheridan Clinic and at the Grant County Nursing Home. But what she loved the most was being a homemaker, opening her heart and her home to many others in the community.

Mrs. Mary, as she was affectionately known by many, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, July 29, 2011 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 97.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 64 years, Joe T. Wilson; a son, Tony Bob Wilson; daughter, Betty Jo Funderburk; daughter-in-law, Wanda Hunter Wilson; grandson, Rickey James Wilson; granddaughters, Lorie Funderburk; great granddaughter, Kristina Wilson; five brothers, six sisters and step-grandson, Alan Trimble.

She is survived by two sons, Joe Loyd (J. L.) and wife Mary Beth Wilson of Sheridan; Billy John and wife Wilma Wilson of Prattsville and daughter-in-law, Anne Wilson of Prattsville;

Seven grandchildren, Mike (Nancy)Wilson, Kenny (Laura) Wilson, Rodney (Tina) Wilson, Tammy Brewer, Cindy (Terry) Jordan, Scott (Mikki) Wilson and T.K. Wilson. Granddaughter-in-law, Paula Wilson and step-granddaughter, Deborah Trimble. Eleven great-grandchildren, Chris (Amy) Wilson, Stephanie (Gordon) Whitaker, Kellie Wilson, Summer (Eric) Savage, Shawn Wilson, Blake Wilson, Payton Brewer, Dallas Jordan, Sierra, Ashleigh, and Allison Wilson. Five step-great-grandchildren, Hunter and Stormy Williams, Andy Deleon, Christopher and Jacqulyn Simpson. Four Great-great-grandchildren, Emma Jane Wilson, Jozlynn and Jordan Kelly and Kristina Whitaker.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brad Warren, Bro. O.J. Ramick, Bro. Shawn Hill and Bro. Jerry Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation will be 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
