Mary Dell Bostain Vance of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 8, 1935 at Plummerville, Arkansas , the daughter of he late Mary and Lyndle Wyles. She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, where she served as the choir director for 35 years. She loved music and spending time outdoors. She was married to Elzy Pryor Vance for 59 years.

Ms. Vance died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 75.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elzy Vance, a grandson, Clay Tyson Vance and a brother, Charlie Wyles.

Survivors: Sons, Bill Vance of Sheridan; Ray Vance and wife Linda of Sheridan; Bob Vance and wife Tammi of Hot Springs Village;

Grandchildren, Jeffrey Daniel Vance, Crystal Rena Carter, Joseph Eric Vance, Tiffany Lynn Nichols and Zachary Webb. Great grandsons, Michael Austin Gibbs and Chase Carter. Sisters, Billie (Dean) Fuqua, Carolyn Kelly, Peggy Schader and Barbara Kilburn.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 18, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Rickey Poyner, Bro. Jim Wagner and Bro. Dennis Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Joe Vance, Scooter Vance, Jake Kelly, Darrell Kelly, Dickey Whitaker, Ricky Whitaker, Harvery Kilburn, Dwayne Wyles and Gerald Wyles.
