Mary Alena Lambert French of Hensley, Arkansas was born February 24, 1937 in Reeder, Arkansas the daughter of the late Mervin Leon and Veda Beatrice Billingsley Lambert. She enjoyed swimming, camping, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. French died Friday, December 20, 2013 at Baptist Heath Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 76.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl French, a brother, Emmitt Lambert and a granddaughter, Crystal Tompkins.

Survivors: Sons, Carl and wife Debbie French of Seattle, WA; William French of Clinton; Charlie French of Hensley; Stephen and wife Mary French of Hot Springs; daughters, Nancy and husband Tony Thornbrue of Sheridan; Lisa Woods of Hensley; Carla and husband Tommy Tompkins of Hensley; brother, Charles and wife Vicki Lambert of Alma; Sisters, Connie and husband Charles Fowler of Chidester; Bonnie and husband Max McGrew of Amity; Rhonda and husband Thomas Garcia of East Camden; Wanda Smith of East Camden; Pam and husband Bob Greer of Hensley; 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial service will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 23, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Paul Roberts officiating.
