Mary Jo Gillis Dimler of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 28, 1935 in Junet, Arkansas the daughter of the late Roni and Bernie Haynes Gillis. She was a member of North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan and had retired from Sheridan Schools. Her passions were quilting, gardening and growing flowers.

Mary Jo died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 73.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Georgia Lynn Dimler.

Survivors: Sons, Larry and wife Sharon Dimler and Jerry Dimler all of Sheridan
4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jon Cox officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation: Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Dwight Simpson, Randy Hale, J.W. Cotton, Blake Rea, Jason Summit, Bill Summit.
