Mary Elizabeth Grant Kelley of Grapevine, Arkansas was born January 29, 1958 at Pine Bluff the daughter of the Maureen West Grant and the late James "Buddy" Grant. She was a member of Pine Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was co-owner and office manager for Butch Kelley Trucking. Mary was an avid collector, she enjoyed scrap-booking, photography, going to the lake and riding her "Harley". She loved her family with all her heart and was a passionate crusader for Breast Cancer charities including the Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life", and Children's Hospital "Log-A-Load".
Mrs. Kelley died Friday, January 26, 2007 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 48 after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Mother-in-Law, Patsy Kelley.
Survivors include her Husband, Butch Kelley of Grapevine; Mother: Maureen Grant of Rison; Son: Jason and wife Jennifer Kelley of Sheridan and their baby who is "on the way" who would have been Mary's first Grandchild; Daughters, Brandy Kelley of Sheridan and Lindsey Kelley of East End; Brother: Joey Grant of Grapevine; Sister: Kay Lybrand of Grapevine. She is also survived by a host of family, friends, and her dog "Cinnamon".
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Jim Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery near Grapevine. Visitation: Monday, 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" or to Arkansas Children's Hospital "Log-A-Load". Pallbearers will be Jeff Taylor, Keith Ramick, Bruce Mullins, Ronnie Lightsey, Carl Morris and Taylor Barbre.
