Mary K. Mitchell, 83, of Sheridan, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on September 27, 2015. She was born September 22, 1932 in Grant County to the late W.L. and Emily Bradshaw Bradley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Mathis, and a brother, John Bradley.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth O. Mitchell; son, Kenny Mitchell and wife Sharon of East End; grandchildren, Missy Milliken (John) and Adam Mitchell (Michelle) both of East End; great grandchildren Caden, Presley, and McCoy Milliken, Marissa and Andrew Mitchell; a sister, Frances Zadina of Oregon, and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that her life touched.
She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. She had worked her entire life in manufacturing and retail sales in her home town, retiring from her last job at Winston's Zero Gas Company. She was an especially proud grandma and if possible a prouder great-grandma.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Holmes, Bro. David Hiblong and Bro. Paul Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
