Mary Emma Jean Cotten Sullivant Nix of Grapevine, Arkansas was born September 29, 1940 at Little Rock, the daughter of the late Leslie and Nellie Graham Cotten. She was a homemaker whose greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Nix died Friday, May 7, 2010 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, at the age of 69. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Nolan Cotten.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn Sullivant Brown and husband Keith; son and daughter-in-law, Leslie Sullivant and wife Brenda, all of Grapevine; Brothers, Lee Cotten of Poyen and Wayne Cotten of Malvern; Sister, Nina Winston of Hot Springs; 6 Grandchildren, Tootie Martin, Nickie Murdock, Sydney Sullivant, Darla Mclure, Jeffrey Mclure and Laura Brown; 1 Great Grandchild, Bentley Sullivant.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery near Malvern. Visitation: Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
