Mary Sue Cardwell Quinton of White Hall, was born April 13, 1942 in Silverdale Community Dunklin County, Mo, the daughter of the late Olan and Oma Wheeler Cardwell.
Ms. Quinton died April 7, 2026 at The Blossoms of White Hall at the age of 83.
She was raised in the Baptist Faith, was an avid reader and an excellent cook. Even though she had no biological children, she was a mother to many…including fostering children and running an in-home daycare for years touching countless lives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Quinton; brothers, Everett, Johnie, Wesley Cardwell; sisters, Betty Windes, Marilyn Carothers, Lil Redden; step-son, Marlin Quinton; and granddaughter, Alicia Quinton.
Survivors: last remaining sibling, Barbara Mullins of Sheridan; stepsons, Martin Quinton of Memphis, TN, Mark Quinton of West Memphis, TN; stepdaughter, Amy Kaplan of Olive Branch, MS; 7 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Private service will be held at a later date.
