Mary Margaret Jackson Rice of Little Rock, Arkansas was born April 6, 1940 in Malvern, the daughter of the late Mitchell and Mary Emma Hathaway Jackson. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Little Rock. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, doing word searches and going to the casino. She was an avid Razorback fan.

Mrs. Rice died Thursday, January 5, 2023 at her daughter's home in Leola at the age of 82.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Rice.

Survivors: daughters: Emma Warner of North Little Rock, Margie (Steve) Wheetley of Hot Springs, Julie (John) Kimmer of Haughton, LA, Joyce (Steve) Partridge of Leola; brother, Ronald Lee Jackson of Florida; sisters; Juanita (Bud) Humphries of Beebe, Laine Jackson of Little Rock; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM,  Monday, January 9, 2023 at Prairie Bayou New DeRoche Cemetery in Malvern with Bro. Steve Partridge officiating. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Bryant, Drew Abernathy, Chase Wheetley, Thomas Kimmer, Steve Wheetley, and John Kimmer.
