Mary Janet Johnson Romine of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 20, 1944 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Robert Woodrow and Altha Mae Willis Johnson. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed cooking, and sewing for her girls. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Ms Romine died July 14, 2021 at The Waters of White Hall at the age of 76.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Eddie Romine, son-in-law, Allen Casteel, brothers, Ronald Johnson and Woodell Johnson and grandson, Tyler Burnell.

Survivors: sons, John Michael (Leslie) Romine of Farmersville, LA, Mark Romine of Sheridan, Matthew Romine of Bismarck; daughters, Angela  (Dewayne) Keen of Alexander, Melanie Casteel of Sheridan, Michelle Bailey of Jefferson; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and her best friend, Bob Romine as well as many friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with her sons, John Romine and Evangelist Matthew Romine officiating. Burial will follow at Orion Cemetery near Redfield. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Romine, Mark Romine, Zakary Romine, Hunter Romine, Caleb Romine, Kendall Mosby, Justin Keen and Dewayne Keen.
