Mary Stone of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 25, 1942 near Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Vance and Lucy Brantley Black. She was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and she enjoyed sewing and fishing.

Mrs. Stone died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Baptist Heath Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 71.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Gladys May Black Stone, another sister, Marie Pennington and a brother, Johnny Black.

Survivors; husband, Louis D. Stone of Sheridan; son, Harlan Phillips and wife Brenda of Sheridan; daughter, Katherine Lynn Baker and husband John of Castle Rock, Colorado; step-children, Sharon Kay Falls and husband Thomas of Hot Springs Village and David Michael Stone of Flippin; 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Click officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
