Mary Petry Toney of Prattsville, Arkansas was born August 23, 1929, in Orange, Texas, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Dora Guidry Petry. She was a member of North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan, where she faithfully served her Lord. She was very artistic, loved to paint and spend time with her family. Many people knew her from the years she worked at Fred's in Sheridan.

Mrs. Toney died Monday, September 21, 2015 at her home at the age of 86.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Toney, one brother and four sisters.

Survivors: sons, David and wife Gayle Toney of Buna, Texas, Billy Wayne and wife Missy Toney of Quitman, Texas, Roy Toney of Prattsville; daughter, Kim and husband Robert Vance of Prattsville; sister, May Smith of Mauriceville, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Mitchell, Matt Mitchell, Shayla Witt-Easterling, Aaron Toney, Jamey Vance, Julie Pacheco, Ashley Maxwell and Heather Florian; 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jon Cox and Bro. Joe Bratton officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 until service time.
