Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Corley Ware was born on February 5, 1936 to the late William Hart Corley and Winnie Alice Rudkins Corley and raised in the Slab Town community. Mary passed from this world December 17, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock Arkansas.

Mary was saved and baptized at Twelfth Street Baptist Church , currently Heritage Baptist in Little Rock February of 1968.

She was a graduate of Sheridan High School. She was employed by the Sheridan School District for a period of time before moving on to a job with the Arkansas State Forestry Commission starting on September 28, 1966, at the time not knowing she would go on to a long career and eventually retire from there after almost 30 years of service. Mary was the Arkansas Forestry Commission's first Personnel Manager in the highest ranking non-Forester position.

Mary met and married the love of her life and the father of her children, Ronald Erwin Ware on October 2, 1959. They were married 45 wonderful years. Ron preceded her in death on October 28, 2004, also preceding her in death were her brother Bill Corley Sr. and her son in law Joe Paul Bryant.

Mary loved her children, grandchildren, great grand children, as well as her many dogs and cats, and loved to tell you all about them. She loved traveling and was always excited for the next trip.

Mary is survived by her children, Alyce (Darrell) Apple, Kathy (Buck) Allen, Stephen (Judy) Ware, Susan Bryant and Thomas Ware.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren Chris (Katie) Apple, Jamie (Tim) Eichler, Cody (Amanda) Allen, Joshua (Samatha) Allen, Elizabeth Allen, Holly Allen, Lisa (Chris) Miller, Tyler (Jill) Choate, Justin (Cheyanne) Bryant, Wayne Bryant, Amanda (Caleb) Romine, Sean (Bethany Godbey) Ware, Jesi (James Porter) Layne, Dylan (Regan) Ware and Natalie Ware.

In addition to her children and grandchildren, she is survived by 19 great grandchildren, Erin, Lori, James and Taylor Apple. Madalyn Clark and Avery Eichler, Ava, Harper and Joshua Wyatt Allen, Khloe, Mia and Ransom Allen, Mason and Brantley Miller, Chris and Janie Kitzmiller, Lilah Bryant, Makynley Cason and Joe Paul "JP" Bryant, Randi, Raleigh Bryant and Harper Porter, as well as her special friends Edye and her husband Terry Green.

Graveside services will be held at Lost Creek Cemetery on Saturday December 21, 2019 at 10AM.
