Mary Jean Harris Wells of East End, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the age of 85.

Mrs. Wells was a member of East End Baptist Church for over 70 years, where she served the Lord faithfully as Sunday School teacher, preschool and nursery teacher.

She was born March 3, 1933 in Rosston, Arkansas to the late Homer and Jean Garmley Harris. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Blood and a son Michael Wells.

She leaves behind her husband of almost 69 years, James Wells of East End; daughter, Joan (Frank) Howard of Jacksonville; granddaughter, Amanda (Jim) Acebedo; great grandchildren, Chris and Skylar and a host of church family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 14, 2018 at East End Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 until service time.
