Obituary

Mary Virginia Woodard Froman of the Ico Community, (near Sheridan, Arkansas) was born August 20, 1945 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late E.E. "Pete" and Gladys Bumgardner Woodard. She was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, had formerly worked at Siemens and enjoyed growing flowers. Mary especially loved her family. In fact, she had a shoebox where she saved every card that any of them ever sent her.

Mrs. Froman died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at The Arkansas Hospice Center in Little Rock at the age of 63. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Susie Gottfried.

Survivors include her husband, Sherman Froman of the Ico Community; son, Allen Froman and wife Taisha of the Landmark Community; grandchild, Elizabeth Froman of the Landmark Community; brother, Ray Woodard and wife Joan of Hope; sisters, Sandra Dodd and husband Clark of Hensley, and Judy Harrison and husband Larry of Heavener, Oklahoma; also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Tim Montgomery, Bro. Shawn Hill and Bro. Ron Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery at the Ico Community. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to either First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan (402 West Center St., Sheridan, Arkansas 72150) or The Arkansas Hospice Center, (6101 St. Vincent Circle, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205).
