Mathew A. Wilkerson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 15, 1953 in Artesia, California, the son of the late Minor A. and Clara Bearden Wilkerson.

He was Baptist by faith and was a truck driver.

Mathew died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at his home at the age of 61.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jessie Wilkerson.

Survivors: wife, Deborah Ann Wilkerson of Sheridan; daughter, Tina Wilkerson; step-daughter, Jennifer Lisenbey; stepsons, Steven Spillman, David Brantley, Daniel Brantley, Dewey Brantley; brothers; Danny Wilkerson and Rodney Wilkerson; sisters, Velinda Lathrop, Dottie Fisher, Carolyn Courtney, Cherry Clouse, Ginger Garcia, Sophonia Clark and his partner in crime, his parrot, Will Will and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. A time of visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 to service time.
