Maxine Atchley Baker of Grapevine, Arkansas was born January 28, 1930 in the Ain Community, the daughter of the late Elbert and Cricket Phillips. She was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Jefferson County and a housewife.
Ms. Baker died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at the age of 78.
In addition to her parents, Cricket and Elbert Phillips, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.A. "Dutch" Baker, a son Tommy Baker, a brother Bill Atchley and a sister Theresa Phillips.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. O.J. Ramick and Bro. Danny Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Phillips Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
