Maxine Swilling Davenport of Benton, Arkansas passed away on August 31, 2008 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 74. She was born May 2, 1934 in Grapevine, Arkansas to the late Rudy and Edis Swilling.

Survivors include her husband, Cledis Davenport, whom she married, September 8, 1951, in Sheridan, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in law, Pat and Mike Loper of Loveland, Colorado and Melinda and Jim Butzlaff of Bryant, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Tracey Loper and Bradley Loper of Loveland, Colorado and Kevin Butzlaff and Kendall Butzlaff of Bryant, Arkansas; one brother, Virgil and wife Jenny Swilling of Sheridan; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 3, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, September 4, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. O.J. Ramick and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Loper, Jim Butzlaff, Kevin Butzlaff, Kendall Butzlaff, Bradley Loper and Tracy Loper.
