Meb Myers of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 7, 1927 in Jefferson, Arkansas the son of the late Ike and Myra Gage Myers. He was of the Baptist Faith and had served in the Navy. He was a member of the Arkansas Cattlemen's Association and was a retired self employed cattle farmer, truck driver and was a prior board member of Farm Bureau and Production Credit Association.

Mr. Myers died Friday, September 25, 2009 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock at the age of 82.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Ogden Myers, and two brothers, O.E. Myers and Luke Myers.

Son, Michael Lee of Columbus, Mississippi;
Daughters, Melba Myers of Little Rock;
Karen Tracy of Colorado Springs, Colorado;
Paula Cugler of Panama Beach, Florida;
Brenda Lee of Monroe, Louisiana;
Carolyn Lee of Sherwood;
9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 28, 2009 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Hansel and Bro. Danny Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery near Redfield. Visitation: 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Robert Felsman, Bill Slayton, Tony Clark, Billy Joe Nichols, Bill Morgan and Mark Tracy. Honorary pallbearers will be Lenord Ashcraft and Billy May.
