Melba Moltz Funderburg

Melba Joyce Moltz Funderburg of Grapevine, Arkansas was born March 24, 1952, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Elmer and Joyce Swilling Moltz. She was a member of Cedar Branch Missionary Baptist Church and later Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Although she worked several jobs here and there, she worked mostly as a dedicated homemaker whose life was loving and taking care of her family. Melba enjoyed going fishing or just being at the lake any chance she could, she was also a talented piano player and of course she loved to take care of her fur babies. She lived a life full of love for her family; her world revolved around being with them, taking care of them, maybe even being a little feisty towards them, but always loving them to the fullest of her heart. 

Melba went to be with her Lord peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family at the age of 74.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Gary Funderburg, and her mother and father-in-law Coy Lee and Neria Dale Funderburg. She is survived by her son Jeremy (Kristina) Funderburg, daughter Conelia (Bob) Williamson, brother Robert (Martha) Moltz, sister, Diane (Kenny) Ashcraft, grandchildren Branden (Tiffanie) Williamson, Brittney (Hunter) Hoge, Casey (Mack) Sinclair, Colton (Destiny) Funderburg, Makayla (Zac) Funderburg, Spencer Funderburg, Kyle Funderburg, Abby (Blane) Funderburg, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

At her wishes, the family will have a private service at a later date.
