Michael R. "Mike" Taylor, 68, of Sheridan, Arkansas returned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 after a hard fought battle with a long illness. Mike was born to Roy and Nita Wakefield Taylor in Little Rock, Arkansas, on July 18, 1949. He was blessed with and loved by a very large family.

He married his soul mate, Mary E. Taylor on July 14, 1973 and dedicated his life to loving and caring for her, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with undying love and guidance.

His hobbies included working on and building race cars. There is not a car that he couldn't fix. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time playing with his great grandkids. He never met a stranger and would never leave anyone in need.

He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Nita Taylor; 3 sisters, Jerri Royal, Marcia Todd and Cheryl Smith; 1 brother, Robert Taylor; loving wife of 44 years, Mary Taylor; 2 sons, Ronnie (Debra) and Glen; 2 daughters, Katherine and Tina; 9 grandchildren, Kim, Mary, Michelle, Jeremy, Danya, Shane, Skye, Keith and Kyle; 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Bethel Cemetery in the Ico Community. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
