Mickey Williams of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 13, 1957 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late Nolen and Rosemary Alexander Williams. He was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan, where he served in the AWANA ministry.
He was an estimator for Varco Pruden for 32 years and was a member of the Theta XI Fraternity. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved playing golf, and hunting turkey, quall and ducks. Most of all, Mickey loved life and spending time with those he loved, especially his granddaughters.
Mickey died Friday, March 25, 2016 at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 58.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Terri Godwin Williams of Sheridan; son, Brian Skorcz of Sheridan; daughter, Mandi Skorcz of Bryant; brother, Craig and wife Yvette Williams of Rogers; 2 precious granddaughters, Haley and Hanna Skorcz as well as a host of friends and church family.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Shawn Hill and Bro. DeHaan Thornton officiating.
There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 until service time also at the church.
