Michael Lee "Mike" Bowden of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 16, 1951 at Little Rock, the son of Loretta Sutton Bowden Brown and the late Rudy Bowden. He was a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Ar., and was retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal, enjoyed collecting and riding motorcycles, and also gardening. Mike enjoyed guns and was also a competitive marksman and was a member of the NRA.

Mr. Bowden died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 60. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Michelle Bowden.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Durham Bowden of Sheridan; son, Ronnie Michael Bowden and wife Ashley of Arkadelphia; daughter, Maegan Mooney and husband Jimi of Sheridan; parents, Loretta and Ray Brown of Redfield; brother, Gary Bowden and wife Maureen of Little Rock; grandchildren, Tristin Wood, Neeley Bowden, and Micah Mooney.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 31, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Tommy Jones officiating.Visitation is also Monday, from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
