Michael James Henderson, Sr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 16, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of the late Newton James and Betty Lou Pope Henderson. He had worked as a Private Investigator, as a City of Sheridan Policeman and at the Department of Corrections. He enjoyed writing, riding motorcycles, yard work and anything that involved his grandchildren.

Mike died at his home on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the age of 63.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Henderson.

Survivors: wife, caretaker and best friend of over 35 years, Linda Jo Wolf Henderson of Sheridan; sons, Daniel James (Brandi) Henderson of Benton, Michael James Henderson, Jr. of Little Rock, Thomas Allen Henderson of Sheridan; daughters, Amanda (Cecil) Sullivant of Mt. View, Brittney Henderson of Sheridan; brothers, Joseph Henderson of Little Rock, Phillip Henderson of Bryant; sister, Terri (Barry) Bostic of Bryant; brother-in-law, Roy Wolf of Sheridan; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. O.D. Crabtree officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-3 PM.
