Phillip Michael Jordan of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 19, 1948 in Little Rock, the son of the late Fred and Valerie Henderson Jordan. He was a member of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine. He attended Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Sheridan High Class of 1966.
Mike had retired from the Grant County Road Department, Grant County Fire and Rescue, owner of Jordan's car lot and was a log truck driver "Wheeler Dealer".
Mike died Friday, July 8, 2022 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 73.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Bostic and a grandson, Morgan Gill.
Survivors: wife, best friend and caregiver for 34 years, Linda DeMoss Jordan; sons, Jim Jordan, Michael Henry, Clint Hedden; daughters, Kendra Jordan, Tamara Jordan (Caroline); brother, Dr. F. Richard Jordan; mother-in-law, Lottie Taylor; grandchildren, Kali Gill, Reuben Hedden; 3 great grandchildren. Emery, Ruston, Abel and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel South Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be the Road Department Employees. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim and Laurette Williamson, Ed and Charlotte O'Steen, Kevin Hall, William Guffy and the members of Grant County Fire and Rescue.
