Milburn George Sites of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 5, 1929 in Sheridan, the son of the late William Hamilton and Cora Blanche Knowles Sites. He was an active member of the Sheridan Church of Christ where for many years he served as an Elder. For over 37 years, he was a farmer, raising cattle and poultry and row cropping. He served on the Farm Bureau Board for 20 years and the Army National Guard.

Mr. Sites died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 82.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Jean Sites; sisters, Hazel Edwards, Mazel Smith, Geneva Moore and Willie Mae Brewer and by a grandson, Taylor Sites.

14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Jones, Minister and Carroll Sites, Minister officiating. Burial will follow at Sheridan Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home.
