Mildred Mathews Easterly, 87, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Lawrence Hall in Walnut Ridge. Born March 28, 1924 in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late Charles W. And Lala Lites Mathews, she had lived in Sheridan, Walnut Ridge and Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edgar Ardell Easterly and a brother Dr. Travis Mathews.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Marta Jones and husband Larry Of Clover Bend and Selma Jo Fisher and husband Al of Jonesboro, a sister, Charlene Somervell of Forney, Texas, 3 grandchildren, Andrew Jones (Kristal)
on Minturn, Matthew Fisher (Amy) and Tonya Weaver (Mike) both of Jonesboro, 2 great granddaughters, Reagan Fisher and Claire Jones and a soon to arrive Hallie Weaver as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 16, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Derek Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
