Obituary

Mildred Evelyn Lutrell Harper of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 26, 1917 in Grapevine, Arkansas the daughter of the late Lawrence Edward and Mattie Gertrude Smith Lutrell. She was a member of Moores Chapel United Methodist Church and she had worked many years of her life as a cook in cafes and restaurants.

Mrs. Harper died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 92.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Harper, a son, J.L. Harper, sons in law, L.M. Keen and Tommy Harp, granddaughter, Pam Harper and two great great grandchildren Alyssa Keen and an infant baby girl.

Survivors, Daughters, Wanda Lynn Keen of Sheridan;
Barbara Jean Harp of Roseburg, Oregon;
Daughter in Law, Helen Harper of Sheridan;
Sister, Bobbie Tubbs of Sheridan;
Special granddaughter and caregiver, Debbie Davis of Sheridan;
9 grandchildren; 23 Great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan. Visitation: 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorials may be made to Moores Chapel United Methodist Church, 6465 Grant 8, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150.
