Obituary
Misty Lynne Skorcz, MD., of Belleair Beach, FL passed away on July 7, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 53.
She is survived by her daughter, Summer (Helder) Donis, granddaughter, Adelyn Donis; parents, Carolyn (Alan) Capps and Harvey (Sharon ) Skorcz; sisters, Sherry (Rodney) Lercher and Carrie (Steve) Andrews.
Misty was born September 30, 1963 in Little Rock, Arkansas and was raised in Sheridan. She attended UAMS, earning her M.D., then moved to Florida to live on the beach and practice family medicine.
A Memorial Service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Visitation will be prior to the service at 9:00 A.M. Burial will be immediately after the service in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. All friends and family are invited to join the family for visitation and lunch at Holy Cross Catholic Church-Skorcz Hall.
Beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. We will forever remember your determined, adventurous spirit and loving heart.
