Mollie Lou Guest Culpepper of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born February 19, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Fred and Annabelle Guest. She attended Heaven's Trail Cowboy Church in Sheridan. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School, Class of 1967. She served the Sheridan School District for 37 years as a substitute teacher, bus driver, reading and math tutor, and registrar; where many students have made reference that she was their favorite. Mollie loved traveling, Razorback football, cookouts, camping, the lake, and most of all being with her family any chance she could. Spending time with her family brought her so much joy and she took advantage of every opportunity for a family gathering. She was strong, brave, smart, cool, fun, happy, loving, sweet and kind, and most of all giving. The legacy she leaves behind will always be cherished by her family. She was a true gem!

Mollie went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Baptist Health Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Hudson Swiger, and many other beloved family members.

Survivors are her best friend, husband of 47 years, and caregiver, Don Culpepper; daughters, Crystal (Jeremy) Threlkeld, Cari Harp, Candice (Brian) Swiger; brothers-in-law Larry Culpepper, Kenneth Culpepper, Chris Culpepper, Cody Culpepper; sisters-in-law Ruth Ann Culpepper, Cindy Culpepper, and Laura Jane Owens; granddaughters Jessica (Austin Pitts) Rowland, Layne and Lexie Harp, Annslee Swiger, Cortney (Clay) Nutt, Haley and Hannah Threlkeld; grandsons James (Bailey) Hughes, Jacob (Faith Fleming) Hughes, Matt Swiger, and Hunter Threlkeld; and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous other family members and many special friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, with Dr. Walter L. Bubba Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Center Grove Cemetery, in Sheridan. Visitation will be Friday, November 16, 2018, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brian Swiger, Jeremy Threlkeld, Matt Swiger, James Hughes, Jacob Hughes, and Hunter Threlkeld.

Honorary pallbearers are the Retired Teachers of Sheridan School District.
