Myrtis Glyndel Mooney Hollinger of Prattsville, Arkansas was born January 26, 1911 at the Liberty Community in Grant County the daughter of the late Arlie E. and Elma Nancy Sheppard Mooney. She was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hollinger died Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 95. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ural (Buck) Hollinger; Sisters, Lucile Tisdale, Arine Bennings, Jo Buie; Brothers, Rev. Sheppard Mooney, George Bryan Mooney.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Benjia Hollinger of Little Rock; Sister, Velna Smith of Texarkana, Texas; Brothers, Rev. Earl and wife Reba Mooney of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bobby Ray and wife Ilah Mooney of Camp Verdi, Arizona; Sister-in-law, Madora Hollinger of Prattsville; Special neighbor and caregiver, Marie Fite of Prattsville and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with Rev. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville. Visitation: Monday, 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
