Myrtle Ellen Brown Walters of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 23,1950 in Wynn, Arkansas the daughter of the late Dalton and Aline Holland Brown. She was of the Baptist Faith and had previously worked at Rohr. She took care of her home, decorating it for every holiday, hanging pictures of the grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly and the best gift giver, buying the best gift for every person in the family. She enjoyed gardening in her yard, fishing, and crafting.

Mrs. Walters died Thursday, August 4, 2023 in Baptist Hospital at the age of 73.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dalton Bradford Walters.

Survivors: husband, David M. Walters, Sr. of Sheridan; sons, David M. Walters, Jr. (Lisa) of Sheridan, Dustin Allen Walters (Stephanie) of Mt Home; brothers, Dalton "Butch" Brown (Betty) of Friendship, Ronnie Brown (Landis) of Washington, Benny Brown (Brenda) of Florida; sister, Carolyn Jensen of Rison; grandchildren, Dalton Nelson, Baylie Barker, Nicholas Walters, Gavin Walters, Alice Walters; great grandchildren, Emery Jane, Ruston Lee, Tinlee Ann, Greenly and a host of extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan.
