Myrttie G. Davis Loftis of Prattsville, Arkansas was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma on May 27, 1908, the daughter of the late William Asa and Lucy C. Matthews Davis. She died at her home in Prattsville on August 28, 2004 at the age of 96 years. She was the widow of Everett A. Loftis,was a homemaker and attended The Church of God at Prattsville. She was preceded in death by a son, Leroy Loftis.

Merle R. And wife Betty Loftis of Greenwood, Arkansas
Noel M. Loftis of Prattsville

3 daughters: Nellie C. And husband Dub Henderson of Prattsville
Lenora and husband Clarence "Poodle" Bennings of Prattsville
Barbara P. And husband Doug Walters of Sheridan.

13 Grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas with burial at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Larry Loftis; Bryon Loftis; Derek Henderson, Daren Henderson ; Mark Bennings; Darren Gentry and Bob Huskey. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 - 9 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Family wishes to extend special thanks to Kathy and Linda who were her Hospice Nurses.
