Nelda Lou Owens of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 5, 1945 at Grapevine, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Bedford and Berta Irene Anderson Owens. She attended Hedden Chapel Assembly of God Church and was a homemaker. Two of her favorite things were the Arkansas Razorbacks and Elvis Presley.

Ms. Owens died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock at the age of 60. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bobby Lee Owens,an infant brother and also a sister, Connie Wootton.

Survivors include 3 brothers, Donnie Owens, Delman Owens, and David Owens, all of Grapevine. Sisters, Sadie Mae Lawson of Pine Bluff, Marie Winston of Sheridan, and Linda Schales of Donaldson. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel at Sheridan with Bro. Doyle Caldwell, Bro. Kenneth Click, and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will be at Pine Ridge Cemetery near Grapevine. Visitation: Monday, 6-8 P.M. Pallbearers are Ray Owens, Preston Owens, Aaron Owens, Shannon Winston, Casey Winston and Wayne Owens.
