Nellie George Baddour, 87, passed away April 9, 2007. She was born January 13, 1920, in Carthage, Arkansas to Rev. M .K. Rogers and Georgia Rogers.
Mrs. Baddour was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Baddour; two brothers, Archie Rogers and Joseph Key Rogers; and two sisters, Virgie Rogers and Jessie Lee Mitchell.
She is survived by one sister, Rena Mae Krevor of New York and nephews, Dr. George K. Mitchell and wife Martha of Little Rock, Arkansas and Mitchell Key Krevor of New York and David Krevor of San Francisco.
Mrs. Baddour was a talented musician, a graduate of Henderson State University with a BA in music and piano and a member of First United Methodist Church of West Memphis. She was also an avid reader and staunch supporter of the Atlanta Braves. Her steadfast character and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew hers.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan, Arkansas with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Visitation 5-7 PM Tuesday at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
