Newman C. Williams of Sheridan, Arkansas was born at Bearden, Arkansas on September 18, 1922, the son of the late R.S. and Bettie Nutt Williams. He died on Sunday, November 27, 2005 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, at the age of 83 years.
He was a life-long member of Hope Pentecostal Church in Sheridan, and presently attended New Life Fellowship Pentecostal Church; a veteran of the Army, having served during WWII, and was a D-Day veteran of Omaha Beach. He was a retired Grader Operator for International Paper Company, and was preceded in death by a brother, Newton Williams and 3 sisters, Lois House; Easter Cotton and Dorothy Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Wimberly Williams of the home;

Eddie Joe Williams - Cabot;
Daughter: Loretta Gail Webb - Sheridan;
3 sisters: Loretta Smith; Louise Bryant and Carolyn Reed, all of Sheridan
10 Grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Hope Pentecostal Church with Brother Tommy Cypert; Brother Steve Cypert; Brother Marvin Webb and Brother Keith Pennington officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery.
