Nicholas John Wheeler of Grapevine, Arkansas was born December 6, 1978 in Lindsey, California, the son of Sherry Sweeden Wheeler and the late John D. Wheeler. He was an x-ray technician and enjoyed watching college football, and water skiing at the lake.

Nicholas died on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his home at the age of 42.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Marshall Wheeler, paternal grandmother, Ruby Wheeler, maternal grandfather, Albert Sweeden, uncle, Richard Sweeden, niece, Lyndsy Alyssa Wheeler, cousin, Scotty Sweeden.

Survivors are his mother, Sherry Wheeler of Grapevine; maternal grandmother, Oneta Sweeden of Grapevine; other mother, Pam (David) Shirbish of Minnesota: siblings, Shalisa Delk Murphy of Sheridan, Eli Delk of Grapevine, Christy (Jason) Salazar of California, John Wheeler of Minnesota, Matthew (Amanda) Johnson of Minnesota, Jim (Ranee) Wheeler of Missouri; nieces and nephews, Katy, Alex, Katlyn, Taylor, Nick, AJ, Layla, Jaxson, Kanie, Matthew, Jamie, Katie, Allie, John, Tyler, William, Chrissy, Katie and great nephews, Mason and Elijah and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 14, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until service time.
