Nita Jane Waddell Freeman of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 2,1924 in Sheridan the daughter of the late James Aufa Waddell and Ethel E. Koon Waddell. She was the longest living member of First Baptist Church of Sheridan for 82 years.

Ms Freeman died at her home on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the age of 96.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Wallace Britton Freeman and daughter-in-law, Donna Freeman.

Survivors: sons Wallace Britton Freeman, Jr. of Hot Springs, Robert Daniel (Pam) Freeman of Sheridan; brother Edwin Earl Waddell of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Chris (Sarah) Freeman, Stacy (Andrew) Weitz, Kristin (Jason) Wood, Brock (Kelsey) Freeman, Darby McCormack; 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday September 21, 2021 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Ed Waddell officiating.

The family would like to thank all the care takers for the many years of great care given to her.
