Lloyd Oby Smith, Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 16, 1945 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late Lloyd Oby Smith, Sr. and Elsie Morris Smith. He was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church in Sheridan where he had been active with the Awana Ministry, driving the van and Upward Basketball. He also enjoyed fishing, playing golf and hunting.

Mr. Smith died at his home on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the age of 75.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Carolyn Spoonamore Smith.

Survivors: sons, Clayton (Julie) Smith of Sheridan; Jason (Cindy) Smith of Redfield; brother, James (Nancy) Smith of Hamburg; 5 grandchildren, C.J. Smith, Kylie (Tyler) Brown, Sam Smith, Jacob Smith and Sarah Smith; great grandchildren, Tatum and Drake and a host of extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro. Riley McCurry officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 until service time.
