Odessa F. Jackson Quick, age 79 of Houston, Texas passed away in peace to be with her Lord Jesus at 4:15 P.M. on February 21, 2007. Her daughter and one of her long-time friends were at her bedside when she was chosen to be with God.

She was born on December 27, 1927 in Sheridan, Arkansas where she lived with her parents and attended school in sheridan and in Redfield.

Odessa was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Dan Quick, Sr.; parents, Lonnie A. and Bessie L. Walters Jackson and a son Steven Jackson Quick.

Odessa leaves behind her to be remembered, cherished, missed and most of all LOVED:
Son: Arthur Dan Quick, Jr.; Daughter: Constance (Connie) L. Quick Stevens; Grandchildren: Richard D. Wight, Christopher Lee Cooper, Nathan Dan Quick; Great Granddaughter: Sabrina Marie Wight; Brothers: Raymond, Cleo, William Ray and Jimmy Jackson; Sisters: Bulah Sue Jackson Brixie, Lois Helen Jackson Chamberlain; 7 Nieces, 6 Nephews and 2 Aunts.

She retired after 23 years of employment at Fingers Furniture. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the American Business Womens Association . She was a person who enjoyed life and loved her family and Ahrens friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 3, 2007 from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Funeral services celebrating Odessa's life will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home , 2686 Hwy. 167N, Sheridan, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, White Hall, Arkansas.
