Odie McCool Lovett, 99, passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 at her home in Panama City, Florida. She was born December 26, 1908 in Sheridan, Arkansas and had lived for the last ten years in Panama City. Mrs. Lovett taught in the Hardin and Sheridan school districts for several years before moving to Little Rock, Arkansas.
Mrs. Lovett was predeceased by her husband, Hugh Lovett, sisters Floy Lowman, Negie Greene and Juanita Bailey. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Ingram and husband Richard of Panama City, Florida; son Tom Lovett and wife Carolyn of Florence, Alabama.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 28 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, November 29 at Lost Creek Cemetery with Rev. Bill Bowen officiating.
