Obituary
Opal Fern Jones Runion of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 2, 1924 in Neelyville, Missouri, the daughter of the late William and Sophie Calhoun Jones. She was a member of Ain Missionary Baptist Church at Grapevine. She loved animals, being outdoors and riding.
Ms. Runion died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 86.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lena Mathis, Ruby Hester and a brother, Glen Jones.
Survivors: Daughters, Bobbie and husband Joe Loyd of Sheridan;
Linda and husband Jerry Kirkpatrick of Center Ridge;
Sister, Wilma Plunkett of Grapevine and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
1 grandchild and 3 great grandchildren
Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at Ain Cemetery in Grapevine with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
