Obituary

Packer Ty Deguisne of Little Rock, Arkansas was born August 28, 2003, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a sophomore at Sheridan High School, and was a gifted athlete, having previously played on the baseball team. Packer was very social. He had tons of friends, and he always found ways to relate to everyone. From riding around with his sister, singing to the top of their lungs, to gaming at home, Packer was always busy doing something. He also enjoyed teen romance movies and novels.

Packer died Monday, March 2, 2020, in Little Rock, at the age of 16. He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Rebecca Copeland; grandfathers, Robert Kenzel and Theodore Deguisne; aunt, Jennifer Wilson Green.

Survivors include his parents, Dan and Dana Wilson Deguisne of Little Rock; brothers, Houston Cole of North Little Rock and Nick (Brandi) Cole of Little Rock; sisters, Cassie Deguisne of Little Rock and Alyssa Davis of Sheridan; grandmothers, Jacqua Deguisne of Little Rock and Bonnie Wilson of Sheridan; Uncle and Aunt, Chris and Robin Wilson of Saucier, Mississippi, Uncle and Aunt, Terry and Mary Jo Deguisne of Phoenix, Arizona; Aunt and Uncle, Cathy and Steve Graff of Cabot. He is also survived by numerous other family members, and many, many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 7, 2020, at East Union Missionary Baptist Church in East End with Bro. Paul Roberts officiating. Visitation is Friday, 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. The family requests that anyone attending the visitation or funeral, dress casual.

Packer loved Yellowjacket baseball, and the family asks any memorials be made to Sheridan RBI Club, 10 Christen Ln, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150.

Honorary pallbearers are Blake Uptegraft, Mason Fischer, Bryan Rainey, Andrew Howard, Landon Monday, Sheridan Baseball Team, and Arkansas Prospects Baseball Team.
