Patsy Ruth Zinn Jones Taylor of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away May 5, 2019 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock, AR. She was born August 4, 1931 in Sheridan, Arkansas to Carl O. and Mavis M. Zinn.

In her high school years Pat was a ballroom dancer and teacher of dance. After graduating from Pine Bluff High School, she was employed as an administrative professional at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, was an active member in Pine Bluff civic organizations, and later served as a room mother for her children in school. After her children were grown, Pat worked in several jobs that allowed her to do what she loved most, which was meeting and visiting with people from all walks of life. She worked at the Louisiana Office of Tourism, the North Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Little Rock Visitor and Convention Bureau at the Little Rock Airport and at Curran Hall in Little Rock.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her son Martin Howard Jones, her husband of 18 years Perry Allen Taylor, and her children's father Bobby Howard Jones.

Pat is survived by her children Susan B. Jones (PJ Janssen) of Glade Park, CO, Janis R. Jones (Missy Harris) of North Little Rock, AR, Philip R. Jones of Little Rock, sister Hilda Jane Hope of Green Cove Springs, FL and Hilda's children in FL, her Aunt Elsie Allen of Sheridan, AR, special family friends Fabian Wells of Little Rock and Janie Jones of Killeen, TX. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Pat is also survived by friends and adopted family at Brookdale Pleasant Hills where she lived the last 3 years. Many thanks to the residents and staff there that helped to make that her home.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, with memorial service following at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Grant County Museum in Sheridan (521 Shackleford Road Sheridan, AR 72150), or to the Humane Society of Pulaski County (14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR, 72210).
