Patrick Leon "Pat" Reed of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 17, 1943 the son of the late Dan F. Reed Jr., and Lucille Allinson Reed. He was a Charter member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and was instrumental in founding and supporting the Food Bank Ministry of the church, which has steadily grown and helps provide food for many needy families in the community. Pat founded Action Realty in Sheridan in 1979, and was serving as principal broker. He had also served in the Arkansas National Guard and was a member of Gideons International.
Pat died Tuesday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 66.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jessie Joe Reed and his wives, Jean Spann Reed and Patricia Dunbar Reed.

Step-sister, Frances Furr of Little Rock;
6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren;
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 6, 2009 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan.
Pallbearers will be David Holloway, Paul Holloway, Harold Rowe, Bob Logan, Cole Davis, Eddie Moring and Rickey Ashley.
