Patsy Jo Owens Buchanan of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 6, 1939 at Pine Bluff, the daughter of the late Booth Hunter Owens and Lizzie Dee Wyles Owens.  She was a member of Hedden Chapel Assembly of God Church.  She liked to fish and definitely enjoyed being outdoors.  She had beautiful gardens and took great pride in her flowers.  Her home has her personal decorating touches all over it.  She was an excellent cook and loved making memories with her family.  Hands down, her favorite pastime was shopping!

Mrs. Buchanan died Saturday, September 17, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 83.  In addition to her family, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Owens.

Survivors include her husband of almost 65 years, Wayne Buchanan; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Teresa Buchanan, Tony and Nicole Buchanan; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Ryan Woodard; sister-in-law, Joanie Owens; grandchildren, Casey Buchanan (Tami), Bryan Woodard (Taylor), Tyler Woodard, Brady Buchanan, Gunner Walters, Paige Fisher; great grandchildren, Katelyn Buchanan, Lawson Woodard, Asher Fisher.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will be in Hedden Chapel Cemetery near Grapevine.  Visitation is Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
